What's an Aleax anyhow?

So what do Aleaxi have to do with software?

While playing the adventure game Nethack as a break from some coding,
my character was killed by an Aleax. Nethack's monster guide lists the
Aleax as "Said to be a doppleganger sent to inflict divine punishment for
alignment violations".

Alignment problems are nasty when dealing with machine code, so being
the victim of an Aleax is quite ironic. When struck with the problem of
finding an available, semi-meaningful, domain, it was simply the first free
one that I found.
